2022 marks Sky Lake’s semisesquicentennial (the big, fancy term for 75th anniversary) AND we are able to return to full capacity, which means we’re going to spend the whole summer celebrating these milestones!
Since that first summer in 1947, Sky Lake has sought to provide a wholesafe environment where campers from a variety of ages and abilities can be part of a caring Christian community that encourages kindness, joy, and love of others. This community is a place where friends are made, new skills are developed, and God is encountered through time in Creation, all while having a ton of fun.
We never truly know what each summer—or even each week—will bring here at Sky Lake, but we do know for sure that we will be ready to safely welcome campers once again to the campfire circle this summer.
We have once again developed a schedule for Summer 2022 that is adaptable to changing circumstances and that puts aside most of our specialty programs for (hopefully one last) summer so that the focus can be on providing an experience that allows campers the opportunity to practice being themselves again in a supportive environment.
